Drew Barrymore may not look like a rich girl with a heart of gold in the picture above, but actually she’s worth more than that to the children of the third world.

The 33-year old actress has just donated $1 million to the United Nations’ World food Program (WFP): Fill the Cup campaign. She has been the ambassador against hunger of WFP for the past two years. The campaign is targeting $3 million to help feed 59 million school children in developing countries.

“I have seen with my own eyes what a difference a simple cup of nutritious porridge can make in a child’s life,” the Charlie’s Angels star explained.

May your tribe increase.
